For my background research I found a map of sweden and found Stockholm, where most of the story takes place. Riddarfjarden is a bay near the oldest section of Stockholm, known as Gamla Stan. This is where Blomkvist's appartment is. Milton security, Dragan Armansky's security buisness in Slussen, in the heart of Stockholm. Looking at the map helped me solidify the setting of the book in my mind. This helped me understand the rather confusing introduction to the novel.
